SPY
Spy: Sometimes he just hated his job. At heart, he wasn’t a killer, he wanted to protect and serve. But they said he was too good for the police. Forced into his job, he hated it every step of the training. Practically blackmailed, they realized they couldn’t let him go. Just as they were warming up the electric chair, he realized something. He could go further than the average police man. He could help save the world. For him, it seemed the ultimate thing. Yet deep down he always hates it sometimes. Eventually it would drive him mad. But it was never his fault. The problem was he never actually knew whom he killed. The agency told him all about their ‘life’. Something strange was going on…

As I ran for my life I knew this would not be the last time I would see this man shooting at me. I would get my revenge and who ever burned me they would get the pay back they deserved. As for the shooter he had just fallen into my trap just as I had planed. Boom and he was dead.

KABOOM!! An explosion rocked Hypereon ‘s Ferrari F50 as he was chased across the salt flats. His car shook and started to slide as he wrestled to regain control. The pursuers started to gain on him even though he had the accelerator on the floor. Suddenly a big dark shadow dropped in front of the car. A hatch opened in the back and Hypereon drove in just before the hatch closed and the plane started ascending. He looked at the passenger seat and saw the yellow envelope they were all after…

She seemed to be talking naturally enough but one could never be quite sure. Perhaps she noticed that my eyes had an unstoppable habit of glancing furtively at the King constantly. “Ah Mr Sylvio!” hailed a man to my right. It took me a moment to realise he was addressing me and turned to him and greeted him with as much pleasure I could muster. This could be my undoing, if only I could get a word of the king’s plans. How long could I hold up this imposture and who was this man who knew me so well?

I slip past the faulty cameras I covered in glue. I can’t be too loud, too slow. If I mess this up then I’m finished, my whole career would be gone. My job was too important, to succeed in stealing the world’s most rare and expensive jewel from the highest security set-up you will ever hear of. I have packed all my gear, practised this many times and I’m still in contact with my partner. According to everything this should go as planned, and if it doesn’t it will be hell to pay. But I suppose I should explain it all from the start, and the reason I became a spy, because it wasn’t a choice, it was a must.

I was excited. This was my first ever mission after being in training for three years. People said it was hard and frightening but I didn't believe them. ‘They just wanted to put me off,' I said to myself. Adrenalin pumped through my body as I paced up and down the plane. I just couldn't keep the excitement from bursting out, in sudden yelps of joy. But all this stoped as I put on my parachute and jumped out.

Everything that I do is supposedly for the good of the nation, to keep our country safe. I’m starting to doubt that that is true but if my mind is constantly wondering, then I’m sure to make mistakes, so I have to tune that out.
No-one can know who I am. My identity must always be kept a secret, for my life depends on it. What kind of a life is that? Lauren R.
